Kazakhstan is planning significant investments in upgrading its entire energy sector. There are 18 GW of installed capacity, of which 88% is produced by thermal power stations and 12% by hydroelectric power plants. Kazakhstan has no own nuclear facilities, but given the largest uranium production in the world the state would like to invest into the construction of the nuclear block. It also envisages the strengthening of the energy sector, construction and modernization of coal-fired power plants, which are in very poor condition. For these reasons, Kazakhstan offers significant potential for the future and therefore represents for us an interesting business destination with many investment opportunities.
